I like my necklaces like I like my cake…Lots and lots of layers! 

I am all about delicate Jewelry right now from bracelets to earrings but I seriously can’t go past a layered gold necklace look. When I layer necklaces I like to find a contrast and a similarity in what I am layering to create an interesting look and tie it together. 

Like with these beautiful Miranda Frye piece, I found a theme in the charms. I mixed the Felicity charm with the Peace charm. Both feature birds which I love! It is a very feminine detail and symbol of peace. I like the contrast ofdifferent chains when layering a look and really love these beautiful detailed chains from Miranda Frye. I mixed the Lindseychain which is a 19 inch chain and the Alex 21 – 23 inch chain and wear it at the 23 inch length. I really do believe the chain of a delicate necklace should be just as important as the charm or pendant and can add extra exciting dimensions and personality.I think Jewelry is a really personal and important element of a look. You can learn a lot about some one and their style by the Jewelry they wear. I love collecting Jewelry as memories and lots of my pieces tell a story. I was drawn towards these two charms as I am really trying to focus on bringing peace and calmness into my life. Wearing these around my neck makes me feel like I am attracting that into my life wherever I am – Isn’t it so funny how things like a necklace can really impact us? I totally believe in attracting positive energy especially with your fashion and style!Layered necklaces, while a very popular style right now, can still feel overwhelming to achieve. The trick is all in the length. Find necklaces that you love that are at different lengths and play around with them. See how they work together and lay across your chest and décolletage and go from there. There really is no rule. Layer two, layer five. Mix metals or stick with your favourite, what ever helps to tell the story you want to tell.
